Test Methods
Abrasion Tests

Our lab is equipped with numerous types of abrasion test equipment such as the accelerator, stoll (flex and inflated diaphragm), martindale, wyzenbeek, taber, and pilling, to name just a few. Our abrasion equipment is staffed with trained professionals who are ready to tackle your technical problems or evaluate your new fabric or garment developments.

Care Label Determination

Development of care instructions involves fitting a suitable laundering procedure to the submitted fabric or garment. Our trained staff will subject your sample to various test methods until a satisfactory procedure is found based on shrinkage and appearance results.

We can also verify that existing care label or customer laundering instructions are suitable by subjecting them to a series of tests such as shrinkage, appearance, colorfastness, and restoration.

Colorfastness Tests

Our colorfastness laboratory has the equipment and supplies to perform numerous types of colorfastness testing ranging from chemical to carbon and xenon arc evaluations. If you have a color related challenge send it our way and we will work to solve your problem.
